Great news: the amount of proanthocyanidins in Kari's Conifer extract drink has now been quantified. A daily dose of 1 dl contains approximately 35 mg of pine bark extractives (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). In short, oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs) are the plant-based flavonol compounds in pine bark that are the source of the many wonderful health benefits of our drinks.
In addition, from the beginning of 2024, Karin Havupuu extract drink will be officially defined as a food supplement, which is why the texts in accordance with the Food Supplements Regulation have been added to the packaging. The recommended daily intake is now 1 dl (instead of the previous 1-4 dl). Nevertheless, Karin Havupuu extract drink can still be consumed in quantities of more than 1 dl per day as before.
The packaging now reads "keep out of the reach of young children" in accordance with the Food Supplements Regulation. This does not mean that giving the product to children is forbidden, the text is intended to encourage parents to give supplements to children under supervision. Children can still enjoy Karin Conifer extract drink as they always have, it is suitable for all ages.
